Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical
Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have
experience in outpatient settings and possess a strong background
in anatomy and physiology. This role involves assessing patients'
physical conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing
rehabilitation services to help children regain mobility and
improve their quality of life. The Physical Therapist will work
closely with patients in various settings, including schools,
clinics, home health, environments. Duties: Conduct thorough
evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient
needs and goals. Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy
techniques, and modalities to promote healing. Educate patients and
their families about treatment plans, exercises, and injury
prevention strategies. Collaborate with other healthcare
professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor patient
progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Document patient
care activities accurately in accordance with healthcare
regulations. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity
of care after therapy sessions. Skills: Strong knowledge of anatomy
and physiology to effectively assess and treat patients.
Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to physical therapy
practices. Experience in outpatient settings is preferred;
familiarity with home health and acute care is a plus. Ability to
develop effective discharge plans for transitioning patients from
therapy back to daily activities. Excellent communication skills
for educating patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Strong organizational skills to manage patient records and
treatment documentation effectively. Compassionate approach towards
patient care with a focus on improving their overall
well-being.
