JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Warehouse Forklift Receiver Reports
to: Warehouse Manager Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5:00 A.M – 1:30
P.M Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour Job Summary The Warehouse
Forklift Receiver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely
receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming products and
materials within the warehouse. This role ensures that inventory is
properly documented and prepared for production and distribution.
The Warehouse Receiver must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious,
and able to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced
environment, supporting overall warehouse operations and team
productivity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive,
inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and
condition. Unload products from delivery trucks safely using
forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
Accurately record received goods in the warehouse management system
or inventory logs. Label, sort, and store products in the
appropriate warehouse locations. Collaborate with warehouse and
production teams to prioritize receiving and storage needs. Ensure
compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and
equipment operating procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and
safe receiving area and warehouse environment. Report any
discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns to supervisors
promptly. Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Previous warehouse, logistics, or
material-handling experience, preferably in the beverage or food
industry. Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other
warehouse equipment. Basic knowledge of warehouse safety standards
and procedures. Strong attention to detail, communication, and
teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification or
prior experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Familiarity
with inventory management systems or warehouse management software.
Understanding of OSHA safety standards and procedures in warehouse
settings. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Work is
performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to variable
temperatures, noise, and product handling. Must be able to lift,
carry, push, or pull heavy objects. May require early mornings,
late evenings, or weekend shifts depending on business needs.
