Job Description:
Waste Connections, a leader in integrated waste services, seeks
a dedicated Driver to join our team in Honey Brook, PA. This
position involves operating heavy-duty trucks on local routes,
servicing residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The
role demands commitment to safety and superior customer service,
ensuring the efficient collection and transport of waste materials
while adhering to all regulatory and company safety standards.
Operate waste collection vehicle with adherence to route and
schedule. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
per company and regulatory standards. Interact with customers and
the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure that load
is properly secured and within weight limits. Report any safety
incidents or service interruptions to management. Maintain
cleanliness and operational capability of the vehicle. Adhere to
all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations
regarding waste disposal. Proficient in operating various types of
waste collection trucks. Effective communication and customer
service skills. Ability to navigate local routes and manage time
efficiently. Basic mechanical skills to perform regular vehicle
maintenance. Medical Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid commercial
driver’s license (CDL) required. Clean driving record. Ability to
pass a drug test and physical fitness test.
