Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting. 2 years of experience in program management, security engineering, risk management, or compliance. Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with current polygraph. Preferred qualifications: Experience with leveraging Google-native AI, scripting, and automation tools to streamline business processes and improve overall operational efficiency. Experience with modernizing governance by using GenAI to analyze security data and accelerate the creation of authorization artifacts like SSPs. Experience with supporting new ATO efforts and maintaining continuous compliance for systems through automated control mapping. Experience with owning independent workstreams within the A&A lifecycle to deliver integrated compliance projects with minimal assistance. Experience with organizing data and applying business context to implement AI-driven solutions that scale accreditation and tracking resources. About the job The Google Compliance team makes sure that our business is always consistent with the current financial regulations. Comprised of multitaskers, this team balances Google's legal and compliance requirements with the dynamic needs of our users and the values of our company. As part of this team, you proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and find innovative solutions. You develop efficient compliance systems and work with teams to implement these across the organization. You are thorough in all you do and see to it that as Google pursues our next big idea, we always have our bases covered. As a Compliance Analyst within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team, you will execute critical workstreams for the Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) program with high autonomy. You will serve as a technical enabler, applying a deep understanding of cloud product compliance to manage Authorization to Operate (ATO) efforts and ensure continuous authorization for Google Public Sector systems. A primary focus of this role is the modernization of compliance operations through Google-native generative AI. You will be responsible for designing and implementing AI-driven solutions to automate workflows, streamline compliance analysis, and transform traditional governance processes, utilizing apps script and workspace integrations to scale risk management, accelerate the generation of ATO artifacts (such as SSPs and POA&Ms), and enable real-time compliance monitoring, planning and executing project-level tasks for both new accreditation efforts and the maintenance of existing public sector authorizations, identifying compliance gaps, addressing escalated issues, and recommending innovative, scalable solutions to improve the accreditation lifecycle. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $111,000-$159,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
