Job Description:
Ivy Rehab, a leader in outpatient therapy services, is seeking a
compassionate and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join
our dedicated team. This role focuses on helping children enhance
their physical abilities and achieve greater independence through
therapeutic practices tailored for younger patients. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in pediatric therapy, a
passion for improving children's lives, and a commitment to
evidence-based practices. Evaluate children's skills and needs and
devise appropriate treatment plans. Implement occupational therapy
interventions to enhance the development of children with various
disabilities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, teachers,
and families to facilitate holistic care. Document progress and
adapt treatment plans accordingly. Educate families on home-based
strategies to aid in the development and progress of their
children. Stay informed of the latest research and trends in
pediatric occupational therapy. Proficient in pediatric assessment
tools and interventions. Strong interpersonal skills for working
with children and families. Ability to communicate complex
information to a non-specialist audience. Capable of handling
sensitive situations with professionalism. Knowledge of
developmental disabilities and how they affect children’s
abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state
of practice. Certification through the National Board for
Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Specialization in
pediatrics is a plus.
