MedStar Health, a leading non-profit healthcare organization in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia area, is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our Home Care team in Baltimore County. This role involves providing expert therapy services in a home setting, where you'll help patients regain movement and manage pain after injuries or illnesses. Ideal candidates will be motivated self-starters who excel in delivering patient-centered care in the comfort of the patient’s own home. Assess patient conditions through physical examination and medical history. Design and implement tailored treatment plans to restore, maintain, or improve physical functioning. Educate patients and families about health maintenance and rehabilitation. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Maintain accurate patient records and comply with healthcare regulations. Expertise in physical therapy techniques and patient assessment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a home care setting. Proficiency in using healthcare IT systems for patient management. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist license in Maryland. CPR certification preferred.
