Job Description:
As an integral part of the MedStar Health team, the Emergency
Services Support Assistant provides critical support to clinical
staff within the emergency department, ensuring efficient operation
and delivery of exceptional patient care. MedStar Health's

dedicated to improving and saving lives. The ideal candidate will
assist in administrative duties, patient communication, and
ensuring the readiness of emergency facilities. Assist in the
preparation and maintenance of emergency rooms and equipment.
Support clinical staff in the performance of basic medical
procedures under supervision. Manage patient flow to ensure timely
care, including processing and documenting incoming patients.
Coordinate communication between doctors, nurses, and other
healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate records and reports as
per hospital protocols. Provide compassionate support and
information to patients and their families. Strong organizational
and multi-tasking skills. Effective communication abilities both
orally and in writing. Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and
terminology. Proficiency in medical software systems and MS Office.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CPR
certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
First Aid certification preferred.
