Cath Lab Tech Location: Rockville, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,052 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab/IR Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 3 Years License: State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, or RCIS Must-Have: Strong cath lab experience. Must be able to work in interventional radiology. Experience with angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion/programming of AICDs, and pacemaker insertion is required. Description: The Cath Lab/IR Tech position involves working with patients in a cath lab setting. The tech will assist with both diagnostic and interventional procedures. Weekend call is required, with one full weekend per month. On-call duties include responding to STEMI activations within 30 minutes and a guaranteed 2-hour call back. This role does not require floating between units. A strict no-tobacco policy is enforced, including drug testing for nicotine. Travelers who test positive for nicotine will be canceled. All staff must follow facility guidelines, including compliance with safety protocols and patient care standards. Modules related to the position will be completed during orientation and annually.
