Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:Radiology Technician - Discipline:Allied Health Professional - Duration:13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, days - Employment Type:Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a X-Ray Tech for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Job Function: - Day Shift. - 5x8: 7am - 7pm. - Position patients and adjust equipment to capture diagnostic images as requested by the physician. - Set up, operate, and maintain X-ray equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures. - Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort. - Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by adhering to proper radiation safety protocols. Job Requirements: - Current state licensure (or willingness to obtain). - 1 year of experience in this specialty. - BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
