Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 08/11/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist Contract Group: University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology – CT Tech Location: 7601 Osler Dr Towson, MD 21204 Start Date: August 11, 2025 Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Shift Type: Night Shift – 7 On / 7 Off Stretch Shift Schedule: - Thursday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Wednesday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Followed by 7 days OFF Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join the radiology team at UMMS. This is a 13-week contract opportunity working a unique alternating night shift schedule. The ideal candidate is experienced, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality imaging services. Key Responsibilities: - Perform CT imaging procedures on patients in accordance with physician orders. - Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients throughout the imaging process. - Operate and maintain CT equipment and adhere to safety protocols. - Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality diagnostic results. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required. - ARRT Certification required. - Maryland State Radiographer License required. - CPR certification required. - CT Certification preferred. - First-time travelers accepted. - Local rule: Locals under 50 miles are not allowed. Candidates’ permanent residence must be 50 miles or over from the hospital. Additional Details: - Flu Vaccine: Required – No exemptions permitted. - On-call: Not required. - Holidays: As scheduled, if they fall within work rotation.
