Job Description:

Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have a valid state
license in-hand to be considered Certifications: ACLS & BLS
required Must-Have: EPIC experience Description: Day shift required
for 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Weekends as
needed, likely every other weekend. Holiday rotation required.
Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical
fit. If clinical pass aligns with guidelines, candidates will be
sent for a final decision. Manager will conduct interviews.
Proficiency in telemetry is needed. Unit focuses on rapid testing
and discharge of patients within 24 hours. Types of patients served
include congestive heart failure, stroke, TIA, COPD, and chest
pain. Staff may care for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
During surge capacity, beds may be utilized for inpatient care.
Facility is a tobacco and fragrance-free environment. COVID-19
vaccine is required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations
accepted. Flu vaccine is required; medical/religious exemptions
only. May be asked to float to rehabilitation if needed. Could care
for COVID patients. Modules are billable and usually take 5-6 hours
to complete prior to start.
