Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming full semester at a middle school in Lansdale, PA. This 37.5-hour-per-week contract role begins ASAP and runs through June 12, 2026. The position requires onsite attendance and offers 1 opening to support students in a vibrant middle school setting. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned to state and district standards, incorporating formative assessments and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learner needs. - Demonstrate mastery of special education subject matter, instructional techniques, and utilize relevant resource materials. - Maintain strong classroom and behavioral management to foster a supportive learning environment. - Collaborate effectively with staff within an urban school environment and adhere to district policies and procedures. Qualifications: - Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification or licensure. - Bachelor's degree required to qualify for an emergency teaching permit. - Prior school experience essential, preferably in an urban education setting. - Completion of all Pennsylvania clearances. - Comfortable working within the district and specific location. - Strong classroom and behavioral management skills necessary to successfully support middle school students.
